Codling Moth (Cydia pomonella) larvae are typically the cause of 'wormy' fruit, doing damage by stinging the flesh and boring into the seed cavity. There are 2-4 generations per year, depending on climate.
Oriental Fruit Moth (Grapholita molesta) larvae attack both fruit and young shoots & twigs, killing the tip of the shoots and causing strikes or flagging. Larvae typically enter fruit near the stem and immediately bore to the center, feeding around the pit. There are 5-6 generations per year, depending on climate.
VivaTrap! Codling Moth & Oriental Fruit Moth Traps utilize a strong wet glue adhesive to retain moths attracted to the dual pheromone lure.
Includes: 2x extra-sticky wet glue traps & 2x lures (2 complete traps)
Instructions: Hang traps in trees at 5-6' height, with care to avoid wind and rain as possible. Use 1 trap for each smaller tree, or 2 for larger trees. Deploy traps in early April, and again in August for best results. Lure lasts for approximately 8 weeks.

Much better than Pest Wizard traps and less expensive as well. 5* product and company.

Same as Agbio AB106 on Amazon
Same exact thing as the Agbio AB106 trap for codling moths on Amazon from the same people. The price is lower but everything besides the package is identical to the Agbio trap. Does what is needed to prevent bad apples with worms in them.

The only trap we have found for the oriental fruit moths. Works fast for monitoring or control in smaller areas.

Por fin un producto que de verdad funciona con nosotros. Otras marcas si han funcionado, pero no a este nivel. No se aprovechaba al máximo la superficie de la trampa y no entendíamos el porque. Pero con este, sin duda no pasa eso, además que es más efectivo. Gracias en verdad

So we are not exactly sure which of these moths that we have. But the trap catches them either way. The moths look very similar to each other so it is hard to say what they are.
